The Tinabal and Vajayjay!

Last night we ate tinabal. Tinabal is what we called the fish that's been soaked in salt and water and left there until its ready to be sold. So imagine a fresh fish being soaked and then left there for ages and ages well you can just imagine the smell of it. It stinks to high heaven and is very very salty to0. But we do so love this kind of salty fish.

We prepared it by washing the fish and then frying it in oil for a few minutes and then take it out of the pan and then saute garlic and onion and lots and lots of tomatoes. Then we add the fried stinky fish and add a little vinegar tov lessen the saltiness and add monosodium glutamate (vetsin) and then its eating time. Ohhh la la la it may smell awful but we do so love the taste.

While we were frying the fish the whole house smelled like the stinky fish... hahahahah we had to open all the windows and let the air in. A lot of people would compare the scent to a stinky vajayjay as what oprah calls the vagina. heheheheh Damn I have no idea why but they associate it with that.Does a vajayjay really smell that bad? Only the guys can answer that.

I grill once in a while outside the house once our next-door neighbor is not home (when his car is not outside his garage, good thing he lives by himself most of the time & he's a good neighbor, lol!)...
